The Private Bank of the Peninsula, a subsidiary of Peninsula Bank
Holding Company, today announced that Kristofer
W. Biorn has been appointed to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Biorn is an attorney with the Palo Alto law firm of Crist, Schulz,
Biorn & Shepherd, APC, the oldest law firm in Palo Alto, with history
dating back to 1928. He specializes in litigation related to estates and
trusts, and has extensive experience in estate planning and commercial
real estate transactions. Mr. Biorn was born and raised in Palo Alto,
and graduated from University of California-Hastings, College of the
Law. He is a four-term member of the Palo Alto Family YMCA Board of
Directors, most recently serving as Chairman. He has also served on the
Board of the Palo Alto Art Center Foundation. Mr. Biorn lives in Palo
Alto with his wife and two children.
